He was born on February 5th, 1985, to Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and José Dinis Aveiro. For both the initial name and the middle name he was named after former Portuguese dictator António de Oliveira Salazar, the wish of his father, who was born in Portugal. Aside from Ronaldo, Hugo and Elma were Ronaldo’s only older siblings.
